Cuba is an enigmatic country, the largest island in the Caribbean. Your private tour guide will reveal this intriguing country by showing you historical cities like Havana, Trinidad and Santiago de Cuba, as well as the charms of the green countryside around the tobacco fields and the wild beauty of the rugged Sierra Maestra mountain range, birthplace of the Cuban Revolution.

Itinerary

U.S. regulations permit U.S. citizens and residents to travel to Cuba only if they satisfy the requirements of one of 12 authorized categories of travel. One of the most widely used categories is called “people-to-people” travel. Individuals traveling under the “people-to-people” category must have a full-time schedule of activities of educational exchange activities that will result in meaningful interaction between the traveler and individuals in Cuba and that are intended to enhance contact with the Cuban people, support civil society in Cuba, or promote the Cuban people's independence from Cuban authorities.
Some of the activities in this itinerary are structured to satisfy this requirement. During the part of the day when there are no activities included in the program, the full-time schedule requirement can be met by having meaningful interactions with Cuban nationals in a variety of settings of the travelers’ choosing. Even though Cuba Travel Network is assisting in satisfying this requirement by creating itineraries that bring you in direct contact with the Cuban people, Cuba Travel Network does not operate these programs and it is the responsibility of each traveler to make certain that they have a full-time schedule of activities of educational exchange activities that result in meaningful interaction between themselves and individuals in Cuba.
