Itinerary

U.S. regulations permit U.S. citizens and residents to travel to Cuba only if they satisfy the requirements of one of 12 authorized categories of travel. One of the most widely used categories is called “people-to-people” travel. Some of the activities in this itinerary are structured to satisfy this requirement. During the part of the day when there are no activities included in the program, the full-time schedule requirement can be met by having meaningful interactions with Cuban nationals in a variety of settings of the travelers’ choosing. Even though Cuba Travel Network is assisting in satisfying this requirement by creating itineraries that bring you in direct contact with the Cuban people, Cuba Travel Network does not operate these programs and it is the responsibility of each traveler to make certain that they have a full-time schedule of activities of educational exchange activities that result in meaningful interaction between themselves and individuals in Cuba.
